First You Dream

Vocalist Mary Annarella and pianist David Kidwell will present a cabaret performance on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at the Wistariahurst Museum, 238 Cabot St. in Holyoke. The evening is entitled “First You Dream” and will include selections from the American Songbook and contemporary Broadway. The program will also include the premiere of Gwyneth Walker’s song cycle “Emily!” which was written especially for Annarella and Kidwell. The cycle includes seven poems of Emily Dickinson, and the composer will be attending the performance.

Ms. Annarella will be accompanied by Mr. Kidwell on piano, along with Richard Glashow on drums and Amanda Sposato on bass. Several other special guests from the Holyoke Civic Symphony will be featured.

Tickets are $20, and all proceeds go directly to the Holyoke Civic Symphony. Snacks will be provided; beer and wine may be purchased at additional cost. Seating is limited, so please reserve tickets by emailing manager@holyokecivicsymphony.org or calling 413-256-1760.
